As an umbrella organisation, RAL unites various fields of activity and departments. 152 different RAL Quality Marks (RAL Gütezeichen) are the hallmarks of the objective and impartial RAL Quality Assurance (RAL Gütesicherung) system, which guarantees a particularly high quality of goods and services. Our RAL colours with more than 2,500 valid colour standards and defined colour tones for professional colour users, are known worldwide. The RAL ENVIRONMENT department awards the Blue Angel and the EU Ecolabel environmental labels on behalf of the German government and the European Commission. RAL LOGO LICENCE contributes to the fact that consumers and companies can rely on products and services with the test logo of the Stiftung Warentest, the sustainable textile label Green Button or the food label Nutri-Score by granting licences, monitoring and prosecuting misuse.
