EU Ecolabel at the CMT 2026 Holiday Exhibition in Stuttgart

How can holidays, camping, and accommodation be made sustainable? Answers and practical examples will be provided at CMT 2026 in Stuttgart. From January 17 to 25, 2026, companies, destinations, and providers will present new concepts for sustainable travel and responsible offerings along the tourism value chain. The EU Ecolabel will be represented at the ECOCAMPING stand (Entrance East | Booth EO110) and will be available for information and technical discussions on environmental labelling for hotels and campsites.

The EU Ecolabel makes sustainable offerings visible to guests and partners – transparent, independently tested, and recognized throughout Europe. Topics include certification requirements, benefits for businesses, and possible next steps for interested providers. Existing licence holders can also clarify questions about criteria and implementation.

An event is planned for the media and trade visitors on Tuesday, January 20, 2026: From 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., hotels and campsites that have received the EU Ecolabel in recent months will be honoured at a public stage show on the atrium stage at the East Entrance.
