The website www.ral.de is partially compliant with the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

  • PDF documents: Some of our PDF documents are not accessible. We are working to adapt these as quickly as possible or to provide accessible alternatives.
  • Videos: Some of our embedded videos do not currently have subtitles. We aim to provide subtitles for all videos in the future.
  • Images without alternative text: Some images on the website do not have alternative text. We are continuously reviewing and updating this content.

Barriers due to economic unreasonableness

Some barriers on our website cannot be removed in the short term due to economic unreasonableness. These include:

  • Complex interactive applications, e.g. games: Certain interactive applications and special functions on our website require considerable financial and human resources to make them completely accessible. We are continuously reviewing opportunities for improvement, but due to the high costs involved, we cannot remove all barriers immediately.
  • Historical content: Older content created before the current accessibility guidelines came into force may not be fully accessible. Retrofitting this content would require disproportionately high expenditure. However, new content is created in accordance with the current standards.
